Chief of House™ Home

Terms of Service

Last updated June 3, 2026

These Terms govern your membership in Chief of House™ (“Chief of House™,” “we,” “us”). By submitting an application, creating an account, or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

Chief of House™ is a membership home-concierge service. You text your Chief with what your home needs, and we triage the request, source and coordinate reputable independent service providers, schedule the work, and keep a record in your Chief Home Vault™. We are not a contractor and do not perform the underlying work ourselves.

Membership and billing

Membership is a recurring subscription, billed monthly or annually, at the tier you select (Home Base, Home Hero, or Estate+; Estate+ is priced to your home after a live onboarding session). Payments are processed by Stripe; by subscribing you authorize the recurring charge until you cancel. Work performed by independent providers is contracted and paid by you directly to the provider, at the provider’s own at-cost rate under our partner agreements — Chief of House™ never collects those payments and never marks them up. Work above your pre-set spending authority proceeds only with your recorded authorization. You can cancel anytime from your billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and is not pro-rated unless required by law.

Text messaging

The service is delivered primarily over SMS. By providing your number and opting in, you consent to receive service-related texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Opting out may limit our ability to provide the service.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, to have the authority to grant access to the property and to share any gate, garage, or alarm details you give us, and to ensure providers can safely access your home as arranged. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.

Third-party providers and liability

Service providers are independent third parties, not employees or agents of Chief of House™. We vet and coordinate them in good faith but do not guarantee their work. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chief of House™ is not liable for the acts, omissions, or workmanship of any provider, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the membership fees you paid in the three months before the claim.

Home access information

Access details you share (e.g., gate, garage, or alarm codes) are stored encrypted and revealed only to authorized staff on a need-to-know basis, with access recorded. You authorize us to share the minimum access information necessary with a provider we dispatch on your behalf.

Termination

You may cancel anytime. We may suspend or end membership for non-payment, misuse, or violation of these Terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
